Bagru printing is a traditional block printing technique that is done using natural colours. Colors are naturally obtained from indigo, limestone, jaggery, alum, acacia gum, black clay, spoiled wheat flour, etc. The process starts from preparing the cloth and ends with finished printed fabrics through their indigenous methods. Motifs having some specialty are transfrred onto light coloured background with wooden blocks following two styles – direct and resist style. Versatile, hand crafted and hand blocked, Dabu is a labour intensive work of art. The prints of Dabu motifs are usually like peacocks, leaves, cornstalks (boota), sunflower, mangoes and various other animals and birds figure are used. There is no better way to add in more grace to your silk cotton indigo saree than to pair it with a classy silk blouse designed like a jacket, and that too, in a contrasting shade. Some gliterring Chandbaalis, a watch and a simply tied up hair is all you need to attend a family function with this ethnic beauty that is a fusion of two hand block prints and two fabrics.

Wash Care : Dry clean is suggested but hand wash also works with mild detergent and cold water. Do not soak. Do not Bleach. Dry in shade.
