Handcrafted in the soil of Bagru, Rajasthan, this Chanderi Silk Saree speaks about the skill and hardwork of our artisan making it unique with impeccable finish and feel. The fabric is first soaked in harda – a natural mordant made from the myrobalan fruit, which also binds color to the fabric and gives it a distinct yellowish color. The color red is achieved by boiling alum and tamarind seeds, while for black color is extracted by fermenting jaggery powder with iron rust. The entire process has extremely low carbon footprint because of complete use of naturally sourced dyeing and mordanting ingredients. Bagru Hand Block Print Chanderi Silk Saree have been crafted using a combination of highly skilled labor, hand block printing and beautiful motifs. Celebrate soulful artistry and ornate detailing with the classic pieces.
